Welcome to Embellish Dachshunds
Set in the beautiful Southern Highlands, Embellish Dachshunds is a small kennel dedicated to breeding quality Miniature Smooth Dachshunds with a focus on type, soundness, temperament and health. Our dogs are raised as cherished family members, and we are committed to producing confident, happy companions that embody the true character of the breed.
We bred our first Dachshund litters in 2024, following nearly 20 years of successfully exhibiting and breeding Labrador Retrievers. While our breeding programme may be relatively new, our passion for Dachshunds spans generations.
Dachshunds have long been part of our family, with my grandparents owning Standard and Miniature Smooth Dachshunds, followed by my parents with Standard Smooths. Today, our breeding program focuses on Black and Tan and Red Miniature Smooth Dachshunds.
We adore their intelligence, loyalty, and larger-than-life personalities. Whether curled up beside us at home or accompanying us on life's adventures, they bring endless joy and companionship, and truly embellish our lives.
